Kurasawa Yumi was suddenly retrenched from her OL job but despite this, she remains optimistic about looking for a new job. One day, straight after attending a friend's wedding in her kimono, she turns upfor an interview late and is made fun of her attire by the interviewer. Looking for a washroom to change, she accidentally walks into an office where Sakurai Reijiro, a famous cartoonist, is having a discussion with the publishing staff about letting Reijiro stays in a ryoukan for 3 months just so that he can concentrate on his next publication. However, one female staff will accompany him which he is not keen on and seeing Yumi, he told the staff that he will only go if Yumi accompanies him.

Hence, Yumi takes on her new job where her role is to accompany Reijirou to Yuzuhara Ryoukan and takes care of his living and to travel to and fro from Tokyo to send Reijirou's work to the publisher on a weekly basis.

Personally, I thought the drama was just so-so. Nothing particular interesting and not to say that it's very boring cos there's Hiroshi Abe. However, this is one of the drama of that season that took me ages to finish watching it >_<
